Hi, I’m Nicola

I have been practicing as a Psychologist for about 20 years and I love working with people across the lifespan….children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.

I tailor my appraoch to individuals using evidence-based therapeutic interventions with the ultimate aim of empowering people to reach their goals and aspirations.

I have a deep understanding of child and adolescent psychology and family functioning, having worked for many years with parents and families in community-based settings. Being a working mother I am also committed to empowering women in all stages of life, from school to career, pregnancy and motherhood.

I specialise in complex trauma whether that might be  working with individuals who have been traumatised by family separation and divorce, anxiety, depression, parent/adolescent conflict and domestic violence. 

 I am an experienced trauma-informed therapist, specialising in the treatment of post-traumatic stress reactions resulting from traumatic events in childhood or adulthood. I enjoy working in the complex trauma space and work with First Responders and Armed Forces and others affected by trauma.

I regularly treat patients and complete assessments for Workers’ Compensation, Criminal Injuries Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accidents and Family Court matters.

I have a strong focus on empowering my clients. My therapeutic approach aims to increase self-awareness to promote positive changes in my clients’ lives and to be the best version of themselves.
